Lawn Weed Control & Garden Care Narre Warren South

Broadleaf and clover treatment, fortnightly mowing and garden tidy-ups for family estate blocks across Narre Warren South.

A close-up of the weeds and a wider shot of the lawn is usually all we need to quote.

Estate lawns and the weeds that come with them

Narre Warren South is largely newer estate housing — compact front lawns, fenced backyards and a lot of shared boundary. Those lawns are usually young turf on made ground, and young turf is exactly where broadleaf weeds and clover take hold first.

Because the blocks sit close together, weeds move quickly from one frontage to the next. Treating a lawn once in spring rarely holds it; a couple of treatments spaced out through the growing season makes a much bigger difference.

Broadleaf and clover treatment

  • Spot-treating broadleaf weeds — bindii, dandelion, catsear, plantain — in the lawn itself
  • Clover patches treated before they spread through the whole frontage
  • Weeding and spraying in garden beds, along fences and through paving joints
  • Mowing timed around treatment so the spray has a chance to work
  • Honest advice when a lawn is more weed than grass and needs feeding or renovation rather than another spray

Regular two-week lawn maintenance

Fortnightly is the schedule that suits most homes here. The lawns are small enough that a visit is quick, and keeping to a two-week rhythm through spring and summer means the grass is never cut hard, the edges keep their line and the clippings fit in the green bin.

Over autumn and winter we stretch the gap out rather than charge you for visits the lawn doesn't need. If you'd rather not think about it at all, our maintenance plans set the schedule out in writing.

Garden care around the house

Estate frontages usually have a narrow bed along the path, a few shrubs and some mulch — small areas that look scruffy fast. Weeding those beds, topping up mulch, shaping the shrubs and clearing the leaf drop keeps a frontage looking maintained between mows.

Backyards are often about the trampoline, the pets and the entertaining area, so we mow around what's there, trim the edges properly and blow the paving down before we leave.

Rentals and property handovers

We do a lot of one-off tidy-ups here before inspections, lease endings and photos — a mow, a proper edge, the beds weeded and the paths blown clean. Tell us the date when you get in touch and we'll be straight with you about whether we can fit it in.

Frequently asked questions

Will one weed treatment fix my lawn?
Usually not. A single treatment knocks back what's there on the day, but new weeds germinate through the growing season. Two or three treatments spread across spring and summer, alongside regular mowing, gives a far better result.
Do you offer fortnightly mowing in Narre Warren South?
Yes — fortnightly is the most common schedule here through the warmer months. We can also do weekly on irrigated lawns and stretch to monthly over winter.
Can you mow and weed before a rental inspection?
Yes. Mowing, edging, bed weeding and a path blow-down can be done in the one visit. Weed sprays need time to show results though, so the earlier you book before an inspection the better it looks.
