FAQ
Lawn Care Questions, Answered
The things people ask us most often about pricing, scheduling and how we work.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does lawn mowing cost?
- It depends on the size of the yard, how much edging is involved and how long the grass is. We quote each yard individually and give you the price before we start — there's no charge for the quote.
- Which suburbs do you cover?
- We're based in Hallam and regularly work in Berwick, Narre Warren, Narre Warren North and South, Endeavour Hills, Dandenong, Dandenong North, Hampton Park, Doveton and Eumemmerring. We also take jobs in Cranbourne North, Harkaway and Beaconsfield.
- Do I have to be home?
- No. As long as we can get access to the yard and any gates are unlocked, you don't need to be there. We'll message you when the job is done.
- How often should I have my lawn mowed?
- Through spring and summer most lawns look best on a weekly or fortnightly cycle. In the cooler months growth slows down and monthly is usually enough. We'll tell you what your lawn actually needs rather than selling you extra visits.
- Do you take the clippings away?
- On a regular mow, clippings usually go into your green bin. For cleanups and badly overgrown yards there's often far more waste than a bin can hold, so removal is quoted separately and agreed with you first.
- Can you handle a lawn that's really overgrown?
- Yes — that's a big part of what we do. Knee-high grass, rentals between tenants and yards that haven't been touched in months are all fine. Send photos and we'll tell you honestly what's involved.
- Do you mow acreage or very large blocks?
- We don't currently run a ride-on mower, so for large acreage we'll tell you upfront if we're not the right fit rather than quoting a job we can't do well.
- Are you insured?
- Yes. We carry public liability insurance and we're a registered Australian business with an ABN, so you get a proper quote and invoice.
- How do I pay?
- We invoice after the job. Bank transfer is easiest for most customers.
- What if it rains on my scheduled day?
- Mowing a soaked lawn damages it, so if the weather is bad we'll let you know and move the visit to the next suitable day.
