Small & Low Tree Pruning

Low, reachable branches trimmed back as part of keeping a yard tidy.

Shaped shrub trimmed back in a paved backyard in Harkaway

Alongside hedges and shrubs we can prune small trees and low branches — the growth hanging over a path, scraping the fence, blocking the mower or dropping into a garden bed.

We are not arborists. We don't take down large trees, we don't climb, and we don't work near power lines. If the job needs one, we'll say so and you'll be better off for it.

What we can do

  • Trimming low branches that can be reached safely from the ground
  • Cutting back growth over paths, driveways, fences and clotheslines
  • Shaping small ornamental trees and large shrubs
  • Clearing branch growth that's crowding a garden bed or lawn
  • Cleaning up and removing the prunings

What we don't do

  • Large tree removal or felling
  • Climbing or elevated work
  • Any work near power lines
  • Structural pruning that needs an arborist's assessment

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my job is small enough?
Send a photo with something for scale. If it's beyond us we'll tell you straight away rather than turning up and pulling out.
Do you take the branches away?
Small amounts go in the green bin. Anything larger is quoted for removal and agreed with you beforehand.
Can pruning be part of a regular visit?
Yes — on recurring maintenance we'll flag growth that's due and handle it when you're happy for us to.
